This coffee is sourced from the Kenyan open auction system, which is part of the Nairobi Coffee Exchange. AA refers to the "coffee grade" and these beans are the largest and highest quality beans. The climate in the Western Highlands of Kenya is good for growing coffee and tea and they export a lot of both. Kenya is felt to produce some of the most elegant and distinctive coffee worldwide. Typical of higher acidity coffees, the notes are complex and contain floral and citrus qualities which you will appreciate in our medium-dark roasted Kenyan coffee... enjoy!
