This coffee comes from a group of 535 producers located on the left bank of the Maranon River in Peru. The name Amoju comes from the Awajun language, meaning "fresh water"... a fitting name for coffee produced around a main headstream for the Amazon.

While each growing region of Peru imparts its own unique flavor notes, Peruvian coffee is smooth and mellow with mild acidity and light body. Its exciting flavor profile ranges from vanilla sweetness to nutty, chocolatey notes and subtle tones of citrus. This delightful coffee is roasted medium-dark.
