Located in the mountainous region of Cajamarca, Peru, Co-op Sol y Cafe was established in 2008 to unite over 1000 farmers, including producers of coffee, rice and cacao. One of the objectives was to protect the environment and to help communities and their families to develop and progress. They continue to work toward the sustainability of their crops and the development for the future by maintaining the Organic and Fair Trade certifications. This delightful coffee is roasted medium-dark to enhance the bright and "sunny" notes.
