Chiapas is the southernmost region in Mexico, sharing a border with Guatemala to the west and Oaxaca to the east. Mexico is the world's 8th largest producer of coffee, with the majority of the production in Chiapas and Oaxaca. Our coffee is sourced from the GRAPOS cooperative which has invested in nurseries to support farm renovation, and diversification initiatives including a women's knitting program and a mushroom cultivation project aimed at creating alternative sources of income. Mexican Chiapas possesses a gentle sweetness and fruity quality. We provide a medium roast coffee to bring out the best in these flavors for you.
